This Undeclared War

Somebody seems to have forgotten something that would seem to be rather significant...

I think it was the American people.

Our President has openly declared war, without a declaration by Congress.

This may seem like just a little thing I know, particularly with all of the bombs falling and America trying to look like it is on a war footing "while going about our normal business" and all.

According to our Constitution, it is Congress that holds the power to declare war, not the President.

The procedure is supposed to be that the President asks Congress for a declaration of war.

Congress then makes the decision and either fulfills his request or denies it.

I thought the Attorney General was supposed to understand that basic document of law.

Think about it and while you are at it, think about this...

Where is our leadership going?

Will the United State support the President in ordering military tribunals without a declaration of war?

Does America have total jurisdiction over World communications?

Is America now in an Imperial era of World expansion?
