Today aircraft and buildings with the people within them were not only attacked, the infrastructure of our United States of America was assaulted.  We rightfully should be not only shocked, we should be outraged.  It is time to think and to respond.  We must respond not only with the potential use of bombs and bullets but with new ways of dealing with security that will protect our liberty and our way of life. To do otherwise is to play into the hands of our enemies. The path we must take is not to constrict our solutions, it is to expand them.  The way does not lay in the traditional use of technology, it lays in embedding intelligence into our security solutions.

The fact is that we can do many things currently impossible if our leaders simply allow the modernization of our traditional approach to cryptography and security and embrace change. Security solutions to deter attacks like we have seen on this day exist and are known by our leadership but simply have not yet been embraced.  We must not allow our current investments in organizational funding and management to deny the safety of our future.  If we do not learn how to depend on ways to manage our systems we will become the victims of them.

I call on each of you who enter this website to immediately contact your associates and your Congressman and make your voice known and make a difference by demanding change to the constructive planning and implementation of our national security infrastructure.  We need a national security conference involving not just the same old rhetoric of senior management but also the creative leaders in our field. It is important to our country that we be listened to.  I am fully confident that within 6 months we can begin to make a difference.

God Bless America!
